Sunday School

Sunday School Program

Our Sunday School program includes classes for ages pre-school through 12th grade. Meeting at 11:00am every Sunday morning, young people are challenged with lessons from the Old and New Testaments. In particular, grades one through eight will cover the entire Bible every two years in an effort to build a strong foundation for a solid Christian walk. The children are encouraged in their personal Christian life through regular Bible reading and memorization that coincide with the weekly lessons. We have developed and designed lessons using a broad range of resources combined with the cumulative experience of many individuals.

AWANA

WELCOME CLUBBERS!

AWANA is on Tuesday nights from 7-8:30pm, September 12, 2017 thru April 24, 2018

(check the schedule below for more details about holidays and special nights & events)

AWANA Club Program
Forge Road Bible Chapel is excited to be able to offer the nationally recognized AWANA Club program for young people ages Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. AWANA is an acronym taken from the Bible verse 2 Timothy 2:15: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.

Our club meets on Tuesday evenings at the FRBC facility during the school year from 7-8:30pm. Children are challenged both spiritually and physically in a fast-paced learning environment geared toward their age level. For children ages three and four, there is the Cubbies program; for kindergarten through second grade, the Sparks program; and grades three through six, the “Truth and Training” program.

Each evening is divided into three structured and supervised events: Game time, where boys and girls compete as teams and are encouraged to develop physical skills as well as good sportsmanship; handbook time, where children recite Bible verses learned at home and gain understanding as to what those verses mean to them personally; and council time, where stories and guest speakers challenge the boys and girls with spiritual lessons. As the AWANA pledge states, the AWANA Club goal is “to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ, and to train them to serve HIM.” Come out and be part of the fun!

What is AWANA?

AWANA is a global, nonprofit ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love, and serve Him.

AWANA reaches kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love, and serve Him.

Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ. Offered through local churches, community groups and homes, AWANA reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey. Those kids who come to faith at an early age discover God’s purpose for their lives and hope for the future. Ministry leaders and parents witness the profound impact Awana has in reaching kids with the gospel and watching them grow as long-term disciples. That’s why so many families and leaders have returned year after year, week after week, for more than three generations.

Good News Clubs

Children are a priority to us at Forge Road Bible Chapel because we realize that discipling the next generation is critical. Through the Supreme Court's equal access decision in 2001 we have been given an opportunity to take God's Word to children in public schools and to teach them Biblical principles on their level in their environment.

We have after School clubs in two local elementary schools in partnership with Child Evangelism Fellowship. Each week, we offer children the opportunity to voluntarily participate. The fun-filled, fast-paced program includes dynamic Bible lessons, inspiring missionary stories, meaningful upbeat songs, Scripture memorization and review games. The Gospel is presented in every class.

Good News Clubs teach respect for authority, integrity and positive character qualities based on Biblical principles.

Trail Life

Trail Life USA is a Christian Outdoor Adventure, Character, and Leadership Program for boys and young men.

Troop 518 has been meeting at Forge Road Bible Chapel since 2015. Operating from Troops that are chartered through churches in 48 states, the K-12 program centers on outdoor experiences that build a young man’s skills and allow him to grow on a personal level and as a role model and leader for his peers. Living the Trail Life is a journey established on timeless values derived from the Bible.

Come join us for a meeting on Monday night at 7-8:30pm and see what we're about! The Adventurers and Navigators (High School and Middle School boys) meet every Monday, and the Woodlands Trail (K-5th grade boys) meet the first and third Monday of each month.
