Series: Esther
Part 1 in a 3-part sermon on the book of Esther. Today we look at the book of Esther examining the background and backdrop of the timeframe and people involved in this story as a basis for the next 2 parts in the series. Week 1 of our 4 week series in the book of Jonah. There are difficult questions to answer in the book of Jonah as we consider what lesson the book of Jonah teaches; our focus is on "Salvation is of the Lord". Each week we will look at a different chapter and consider: Who gets saved? This week we delve into the context of this book, who Jonah was, and the Mariners with Jonah on the boat. The Mariners (we who believe) are saved - what implication does that have for our spiritual walk & journey? *Speaking starts at 0:20 seconds*
