Week 1 of our 4 week series in the book of Jonah. There are difficult questions to answer in the book of Jonah as we consider what lesson the book of Jonah teaches; our focus is on "Salvation is of the Lord". Each week we will look at a different chapter and consider: Who gets saved? This week we delve into the context of this book, who Jonah was, and the Mariners with Jonah on the boat. Week 10 in our series on Peter an Apostle of Jesus Christ. In Acts 15 we see the transition of Church leadership from Apostles to Elders and we look at the discussion in the Council about Gentiles who have come to faith in Jesus Christ. Week 8 in our series Peter an Apostle of Jesus Christ. Today we are with Peter in Caesarea as he goes to talk to Cornelius the Centurion. We explore the complex significance of the city of Caesarea and how this city - created to rival the secular cities of the Greeks, designed to tie Judea into the Roman empire, used to drag the Jews out of their ancient faith and into the modern Hellenistic world - was used to launch the good news of the Gospel to all people in all the world. Today, the world does the same, it has built digital superhighways to advance its principles. How did Peter and his fellow Apostles respond to their challenge and more importantly, what did God do with it?

Week 13 of our series in Jeremiah. We have traced this coming crisis in Jeremiah, and studied the terrible breaking of the crisis, but even as the crisis grew stronger and closer a second theme emerged - one of HOPE - that God would redeem Israel. Today we continue to see the crisis and hope but we distill that hope down to its essence. The hope of the Lord goes beyond waiting for better days and the assurance it's all going to be okay in the end, the hope of the Lord is a person - the Lord Jesus Christ, the son of David who would redeem and restore all that was lost.

Week 7 of our series in Jeremiah. Today we look at a critical time in the life of Jeremiah and in the history of Judah. This fourth year of Jehoiakim is the tipping point, or dividing line, from Jeremiah's message of "repent - before it's too late!" to it actually being too late. Join us as we look back to the fourth year and see what life was like and what it means for us today.

Introduction to our series in Jeremiah; this introduction gives us a preview of what we will be learning about in the coming weeks. Jeremiah takes us through a time of some of the worst events in the Bible including the reign of Manasseh and Amon when the Lord's people were seduced to sin and idols.
