Week 8 in our series Peter an Apostle of Jesus Christ. Today we are with Peter in Caesarea as he goes to talk to Cornelius the Centurion. We explore the complex significance of the city of Caesarea and how this city - created to rival the secular cities of the Greeks, designed to tie Judea into the Roman empire, used to drag the Jews out of their ancient faith and into the modern Hellenistic world - was used to launch the good news of the Gospel to all people in all the world. Today, the world does the same, it has built digital superhighways to advance its principles. How did Peter and his fellow Apostles respond to their challenge and more importantly, what did God do with it?

Week 13 of our series in Jeremiah. We have traced this coming crisis in Jeremiah, and studied the terrible breaking of the crisis, but even as the crisis grew stronger and closer a second theme emerged - one of HOPE - that God would redeem Israel. Today we continue to see the crisis and hope but we distill that hope down to its essence. The hope of the Lord goes beyond waiting for better days and the assurance it's all going to be okay in the end, the hope of the Lord is a person - the Lord Jesus Christ, the son of David who would redeem and restore all that was lost.
