Join us for the 6th week in our series studying 1 Corinthians. This week we look at Chapter 6, an important chapter containing instruction on how we should resolve conflict as believers and also how we view those with whom we are in community and how we treat them. Our mindset drives our behaviors and our perspective on our personal "rights", with both obvious and unseen consequences to relationships and lives in our community that are long-term and far reaching.

Join us for the 5th week in our series studying 1 Corinthians. As Americans we run the risk of being no different than the Corinthians with denominations dividing us like following leaders of teaching at the time Paul wrote. In chapter 4 Paul continues his encouragement of Christian maturity, service, and unity, while adding humility and other characteristics of mature Christian living.

Passage: Daniel 9
Life for the Israelites during the time of Daniel held two messages: one that Jeremiah was preaching of destruction, and another message promoted in society, opposed to God's message, of prosperity. God's people believed the message that was easier to hear (of prosperity) but it was lies. Today we look at what it would have been like for the faithful, Jeremiah, and Daniel and what it means for us. There are still two messages today, God's Word and that which is opposed to God's Word. Which will we choose to believe and act in accordance?

As we look back at the work we did in 2020 and look forward to the work ahead in 2021, we consider HOW we will do that work. We, today, are builders together with Jesus Christ in His Church! The book of Nehemiah encourages us to build side-by-side; no one is working alone, we're all building something bigger than ourselves.

Join us for a ministry update about translation work happening across the globe and hear the good news that the Bible is being translated so people groups can have the scripture in their heart language. After the update join us as we look at how Jesus answers the questions of the Pharisees in the gospels; he questions their logic and the conclusions they have drawn from reading the scriptures. The logic we use is vital as we seek to rightly divide the Word of Truth.
