Join us as we consider salt and the imaging Jesus used while talking with the crowds at the Sermon on the Mount. What did salt mean to the Israelites? Explore how having a deep, shared relationship with others – being “salt” in the ancient context – can positively impact our lives, others lives, and our testimony for Christ in our present day.

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus presents to us a new reality – one we all have to deal with, one way or another, and He does it through blessings. The blessings are not commandments, it is an announcement about what reality actually is – and He leaves it for us to respond.
