Join us on this 4th of July as we gather not to celebrate political freedom but to worship Jesus, for his complete work on the cross, and our God & Father, for adopting us as co-heirs with His Son. Through Jesus’ work we have not only been justified, but we have been made heirs with Him, members of His family. Through Jesus’ saving work God didn’t just save us back to a neutral state, he vaulted us to an elevation high above our station — we have gone from slaves to heirs. In being a child there are rights, privileges, and freedom to live secure in the knowledge of our Father’s great LOVE for us and desire to have a relationship with us. Listen to hear more!

Today we consider Him, Jesus, the greatest hero of the faith, and learn about how we, too can run the race of faith with endurance. We can get MORE excited as we run the race, over years and through trials, as we grow deeper in our faith and understand more fully the joy set before us!

This was a time of RENEWAL when the temple was first rebuilt after Solomon’s temple had been destroyed and the Israelites cast out of Jerusalem. There are moments that impact our lives and, for some, move people on to their eternal journey – for better or for worse. We can see practical examples of God’s nature, in the physical surrounding around us, to help us understand difficult concepts and truths which show us who He is, designed to reveal himself to us and teach us about Him. We can secure our trust and faith in Him so that we can spend eternity with Him – in light rather than in darkness.

Join us for the final week in our series on The Two Ways – Jesus’ teaching in the Sermon on the Mount. This week we review what we’ve learned in the series and now consider the role of temptation in the life of Jesus and in the life of believers today. Jesus faced 3 direct temptations from the evil one during a difficult earthly human moment; we look at each situation to see how He overcame the root of each temptation and responded with scripture. Ultimately, we can choose to obey the Father, or we can choose to provide for ourselves. One will lead to life, and the other will lead to death.

Join us for week 3 in our 4 week series on The Two Ways – Jesus’ teachings in the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus deals gently with the outcast and the sinner but harshly with false prophets. Continuing last week’s message about the narrow gate and the narrow path, in this passage we consider the fruit that people bear and how it signals to us their heart, the path they choose to walk, and how they are leading others. As mature Christians, it is our responsibility to lead the next generation in knowing and recognizing sound doctrine and how to recognize false teachers and false prophets.
