Join us for the first week in a new series, “The Second Year of Darius”. This week we are introduced to the culture and timeline and look at 2 important people during this time – Haggai and Darius. This was a time of RENEWAL when the temple was first rebuilt after Solomon’s temple had been destroyed and the Israelites cast out of Jerusalem. As we look back at the work we did in 2020 and look forward to the work ahead in 2021, we consider HOW we will do that work. We, today, are builders together with Jesus Christ in His Church! The book of Nehemiah encourages us to build side-by-side; no one is working alone, we’re all building something bigger than ourselves.
